Natalie and Rachel had a playful and elegant wedding at Appleton Farms in Ipswich, MA.
Scroll on to see my favorite parts of the day. Including, Natalies first look with her 90 something grandmother, the ring warming ceremony, and a portrait session with the cutest farm animals.
(You know it is going to be a good wedding when the brides email you and say "We don't want too many posed photos, just lots of candids with the animals!")
Some weddings just make my heart explode a little extra. And Natalie and Rachels casual barn wedding in Ipswich Massachusetts at Appleton Farms was one of those weddings.
Obviously, on your wedding day, you are surrounded by family and friends that LOVE you. But sometimes I have noticed that at bigger weddings, it can be a little bit more diluted. Well that was not the case here. Even though there were 200 guests, the day still felt so intimate. It is so clear how loved Natalie and Rachel are. Every single person in attendance loved on the two of them so much.
This was my first time seeing a ring warming ceremony, and it is safe to say that it is my new favorite tradition! A ring warming ceremony is when the rings are passed around from guest to guest and to the family members. They have the chance to infuse them with blessings and well wishes. Looking around at the guests faces as they got their chance to warm the rings was so beautiful. There were criers, ring kissers, and silent smiles.
